Embarking on a journey as a YouTuber is an exciting endeavor filled with endless possibilities, but it can also be daunting and challenging for those just starting their channel. When trying to find your niche there are numerous tips and ideas that can help aspiring content creators pave

their path to success. It doesn’t matter whether you're a professional chef, a world-known gamer or a famous fashion designer. Here are some useful tips to help you get started as a content creator and prepare you to know what videos to make.

The first tip to content creating is to find your creator personality. Finding your creator's personality is important. It sets the mood, image and tone in your videos. This tip will help you go forward in your creator journey and help you decide what videos to make. According to Thinkfic.com there are two types of creator personalities. Creator Educator and Creator Entertainer.

Some people who are perfect examples of creator educators are Jessica Holsman, Christopher Emdin and Sarah Lanser. Some people who are examples of creator entertainers are Tony Talks, Mr. Beast and Brian Moller. While finding your creator personality try to let your “why” guide you. Knowing your “why” should be the foundation of your content process when making your videos. If your goal is to make people happy, laugh, etc , entertainment is your way to go. However, if you want to give tips, and teach others, education is your pathway.

The second tip to content creating is to choose a niche. As a first-time content creator it’s probably difficult to just post a random video without knowing the concept. The definition of a niche is a topic or area that you are very passionate about. Your niche can be about anything from how to fix an iPhone, to how to get a gym membership, to vlogging during Christmas. The more on point the topic is the more your content will begin to skyrocket and stand out from others. Be sure to think of several topics, you never know who else may share the same interests as you.

The third tip is to choose a platform(s). Knowing what platform your content will be presented on is important. Some of the most popular platforms for content creators are Youtube, TikTok, Instagram and Twitter. Knowing your platform will help you interact and collaborate with other content creators. It will help you start to build your community, target your audience and help you figure out the easiest way to get your brand in front of them. For example, if you are targeting Gen Z audiences like me, Youtube, Instagram, and TikTok work best. However, if you are trying to reach millennials Facebook is the perfect social media platform to use. Once you know what platform you will use, it will determine how best to present your brand.

The fourth tip is to be consistent and create a content calendar. Most creators struggle with consistency. Having to keep up with trends and knowing when it's best to post is challenging. Creating a calendar is the best way to go. You should think about your availability in terms of making videos. Think about when you are going to post videos and what days are best for you to post. This also ties into consistency. You need to consistently think of new video ideas, what is trending and how it fits your brand.

In conclusion, creating content can be challenging, but it's also highly rewarding and enjoyable. While the process demands creativity, consistency, and a lot of hard work, by following key tips such as knowing your audience, planning ahead, and continuing to learn, you can navigate through the challenges more effectively and it will enhance the quality of your content. All you need to do is just embrace your journey with some enthusiasm and let your passion pave the way through in every piece you create.
