Tour of Doll Town

Here is a tour of a little doll city I have created. I call it Doll Town. I will give you a tour of all seven buildings, and a bit of info about all of the residents.

Here is the first building, it is three floors high, plus the roof:

Roof: the Hedgehog family residence; their home is a one room apartment. You can see the children’s beds (Jingle’s is on the left, and Jangle’s is on the right), the parent’s bed, and a small living room with a couch, lamp, and rug.

Floor 3: the Panda family residence; we have their bedroom (pictured right), and their patio (pictured left),

Patricia’s Sewing area is on the patio.

Floor 2: also the Panda family residence; we have their bathroom (pictured right), and their living room (pictured left).

Floor 1: the shops floor; we have the clothing shop which is owned by Patricia Panda (pictured left), the bakery kitchen (pictured middle), and the bakery which ironically is named “cafe” and is owned by Patrick Panda (pictured right).

Panda family consists of:

Patricia Panda (pictured left)

is the mom, she also owns the clothing shop below her home. And she is President of Doll Town.

Patrick Panda (pictured right)

is the dad, he also owns the bakery below his home, and the new restaurant that just opened up at the mall. However, he has a manager for that one, so that he does not have to travel back and forth all the time.

Charles Panda (pictured to the left of Patrick)

is Pandora’s twin brother, he is 8 years old, he is also an artist and sells his paintings to friends and family. His nickname is “Charlie.”

Pandora Panda (pictured to the right of Patricia)

is Charles’s twin sister, she is 8 years old, she is also a poet and writes custom poems for friends and family. Her nickname is “Dora”.

Hedgehog family consists of:

Holly Hedgehog (pictured left)

Is the mom, she also owns the doctors office at the mall. And she is a former Vice President of Doll Town.

Jolly Hedgehog (pictured right)

Is the dad, he also owns the toy store at the mall.

Jangle Hedgehog (pictured to the left of Jolly)

Is Jingle’s twin brother, he is 8 years old, he is also a photographer and takes and sells pictures for friends and family.

Jingle Hedgehog (pictured to the right of Holly)

Is Jangle’s twin sister, she is 8 years old, she is also a blogger and wants to be a news reporter when she grows up.

Here is the second building, it is two floors high, plus the roof and the yard. Here is the breakdown:

Roof: a lounge area and bathroom.

Floor 2: Stephanie and Maria’s room (pictured left), and Sara’s room (pictured right)

Floor 1: the parent’s room (pictured left), and the nursery (pictured right)

Yard: living room (pictured left), and dining room (pictured in front of house)

The Rabbit family consists of:

Riley Rabbit (pictured left)

is the mom, she also owns the library with her husband Robert. And she is Vice President of Doll Town.

Robert Rabbit (pictured right)

is the dad, he also owns the library with his wife Riley.

Stephanie Rabbit (pictured to the left of Robert)

is 8 years old, she also has a jewelry making business with her sister Maria, and her nickname is “Steph.”

Maria Rabbit (pictured to the right of Riley)

is 10 years old, she also has a  jewelry making business with her sister Stephanie and her nickname is “Marie.”

Abigail Rabbit (pictured to the left of Robert)

is Addison’s twin sister, she is 2 years old. And she is usually called “Abby.”

is Abigail’s twin sister, she is 2 years old. And she is usually called “Addy.”

Madison Rabbit (pictured to the left of Abigail)

is 1 year old. And she is usually called “Maddy.”

Jackson Rabbit (pictured to the right of Addison)

is 6 months old. And he is usually called “Jack.”

Next up is the houseboat where the Otter family lives, it is only one floor, plus the roof. Here is the breakdown:

Roof: this is the pool area, you can see a mini water slide, and a big one which reaches all the way to the ocean.

Floor 1: In the big room, you can see a small kitchen, and then some beds. The seashell crib is Gabby’s, the bed next to to it Daisy’s, and the parents share the bunk beds. The bunk beds also flip into the shower.

Otter family consists of:

Olivia Otter (pictured left)

Is the mom, she also owns the swim and fitness center at the mall. And she is a former President of Doll Town.

Oliver Otter (pictured right)

Is the dad, And he owns the horse stables.

Daisy Otter (pictured to the left of Oliver)

Is 8 years old, she is also, being an otter and all, a great swimmer and teaches swim lessons to friends and family.

Gabriella Otter (pictured to the right of Olivia)

Is 2 years old. And she is usually called “Gabby.”

Here, we have the last of the residential buildings, it is three floors high, and it is the Parson family’s home. Here is the breakdown:

Floor 3:  on this floor we have the parent’s and grandparent’s room (pictured left), and Lucia’s room (pictured right).

Floor 2: on this floor we have Annabella and Tullula’s room (pictured left), and the living room (pictured right).

Floor 1: last, but not least, we have the bathroom (pictured left), and Peter, Kate, Jules, and Marsha’s room (pictured right).

From left to right, the Parson family consists of:

Rose Person

Is the grandma, she is retired, but she volunteers to lead programs at the library sometimes. She is Alison’s mother and as Alison liked the name Parson better and changed her name when she married Ned, Rose has a slightly different last name.

Bill Person

Is the grandpa, he is also Alison’s father (hence the slightly different name)

Alison Parson 

Is the mom, she owns the animal shelter at the mall.

Ned Parson

Is the dad, he owns the movie theater.

Bob Parson

Is the other grandpa, he is also Ned’s father.

Lucia Parson 

Is 10 years old, from birth, she has had a condition in her legs that make it hard for her to walk and even stand. She is really smart though, and even tutors kids around town. She is usually called “Lucy.”

Annabelle Parson 

Is 8 years old, and she helps out at the bakery after school sometimes for some extra cash. She is usually called “Anna” or “Annie.”

Tullula Parson 

Is 8 years old, and was adopted (hence the blue hair). She came to the Parson family when she was about 2, and has been living happily ever after since. She is usually called “Lulu”.

Peter Parson 

Is Kate’s twin sister and is 12 years old. He runs his own babysitting and pet sitting service. His nickname is “Pete”.

Kate Parson 

Is Peter’s twin sister, and is 12 years old. She knows how to play the piano, keyboard , drums, triangle, and cymbals, and she has a business teaching other children in town. Her most common nickname is “Katie”, but her Grandpa Bob calls her “Katydid” a lot.

Jules Parson 

Is Marsha’s twin sister and is 13 years old. She helps Peter out sometimes with his babysitting if a lot of children need to be walked to their after school activities on the same day. She is usually called “Julie.”

Marsha Parson 

Is Jules’s twin sister and is 13 years old. She works part-time at the toy store.

Now for the non residential buildings and shops:

The Mall:

The mall is made up of 3 floors.

Floor 3: this floor is a little special, the rooms are separated. On the left, there is the doctor’s office/hospital which is ran by Dr. Holly (and yes, she is a former vice president and has her M.D.! What an overachiever!) And you can access it by using the stairs that go up from floor 2. Then on the right, there is the elementary school. It is unusual to have a school in the mall, however, the population in doll town is lower than most towns, so each school needs only one classroom. And you can access it by using the elevator.

Floor 2: on the left we have the President and vice president’s office, and on the right we have the animal shelter. The Presidential Office has a printer and computer! All the latest technology!

Floor 1: on the left we have the toy store which is ran by Jolly, and on the right the new restaurant called “Kid Craft” that just opened up, and is owned by Patrick. The pool area is where the fitness and pool is owned by Olivia.

The First Building of Doll Town Library and Historical Site

It consists of 3 floors:

Floor 3: the library which is  owned by Riley and Robert. Here the residents can check out technology and books.

Floor 2: also the library, they use this space for programming.

Floor 1: the movie theater, although I admit, the historical site would probably be a better fit for the Presidential office, the bottom floor is darker than the room at the mall, so I figured the President and Vice President would probably enjoy an office with more light, while the movie theater might work better dark.

The Stables

The stables owned by Oliver are pretty simple, there is one floor plus a loft for storing saddles and hay. In the stall to the left there are 2 horses. The gray spotted horse is Spotty and the dark brown/black horse is Lightning. In the stall on the right, there are 2 horses and their foal. The mother horse is the brown one, she is called Spirit, and the father horse is the white one, and he is called Snowflake. Their foal is a mix of both brown and white, so she is called Cocoa.

The middle/high school

It is also only one class and the students are: Pete, Katie, Julie, Marsha, and Sara.

Last, but not least, the park. There is a playground, a ball to kick around, and a hopscotch court.

Now that you’ve seen the town, I will show you a bit of their trip. Every Christmas the Panda family, Otter family, and Hedgehog family go on vacation to a snowy village called “christmas village” they also take the RV so they can camp along the way to and from, a few of  the highlights of their last trip:

A hike up stairwell mountain! They had lunch at the peak and the view was unbeatable.

The annual Christmas Eve campout! They had an awesome time making s’mores by the campfire before snuggling in under the stars. 

And one time back in Doll Town, they had a doll parade!
