The Lime Green Giraffe published its first issue in October of 2004. We are proud of all we have accomplished in the past 10 years. Our adult volunteers say they are most proud that for the, “For the past decade, the Lime Green Giraffe has provided teen Girl Scouts in the Atlanta area with a platform to learn about journalism, practice writing and build skills of COURAGE, CONFIDENCE and CHARACTER.”
In February we kicked off our 10th anniversary year with a birthday party for GiGi & the Lime Green Giraffe. The photos below give you a glimpse into the celebration. Yes, we thought the cake was super cool!
